Memorial Day is a busy time for our Post. Here is a list of the main activities we are involved in for Memorial Day:

Memorial Day Activities

We plan and conduct the Memorial Day Parade. Bands from the high school and middle schools participate as well as scout troops, veteran's organizations, political figures... The parade starts at 10:00 AM at the high school and winds down main street to Market street. Following the parade we walk over to our Post for a Memorial Day Service that begins at 11:00.

Our Memorial Day Service recognizes the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines that have sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today. We are honored to have the seniors from the Sun Prairie High School band program perform moving music at our service. It adds a wonderful touch to the program.
